About the event
Enjoy an informative talk with local bat expert in Penshaw, starts at 7.30pm at the Community Centre. Learn all about this elusive wildlife that lives all around us.
We then plan to take a walk locally to hopefully see some bats and listen to their echo-location using special equipment. The walk will be roughly 8:30 - 10:00pm and will include walking up hills (probably towards the monument).
Walk is optional and you can leave at any time.
