Running a Hedgehog Rescue is costly with food, storage, bedding and medical supplies needed throughout the year.
We are always grateful to receive cat food both dry biscuits and meaty wet food.

For those who are maybe not local or able to deliver donations, we also regularly need other items such as kitchen roll, cleaning fluids, black bags etc and therefore have set up an online list here : Penshaw Wildlife Group Wishlist.
This online list helps us receive donations directly to our rescue,

Did you know the average cost to care for just one hedgehog is around £55? Covering everything from food and medication to cleaning essentials vet bills and medical tools. That's alot of money for a small rescue!
Right now, our patients are recovering from various degrees of open wound injuries and illnesses from the harsh realities of malnutrition and human activity.
Each little precious life is fighting hard to survive and we are fiercely dedicated to helping every single one of them.
But the truth is, we can only do this with YOUR help.
We are also trying to raise funds for a new home/hogspital.
